One of the great pleasures since meeting my husband has been our motorcycle trips. The vantage point, from the back seat, allows for unobstructed views on both sides of the roadway and to the front.
Hardest adjustment is my brain continuously scanning the sides for the “next photo op” only to pass them by. Asking my husband to stop every time I see something is less than practical if you ever want to actually get anywhere. I figured out the real key was to learn how to take photos from the motorcycle.
Some of my best photos have now come from this vantage point. While I still will see many “photo ops” and wish we would stop, I’ll always enjoy revisiting our trips through the ones taken from the back of the bike.
These area few from a motorcycle trip we took into northern Louisiana, in 2017.
